Ronald Labonte is Canada Research Chair in Globalization
&
Health Equity, Institute of Population Health, and Professor, Department of Epidemiology and Community Medicine, at the University of Ottawa. A founding member of the Canadian Coalition for Global Health Research, current president of the board, and a past board member of provincial and national public health associations in Canada, he also chaired the Globalization Knowledge Network for the WHO Commission on Social Determinants of Health (2005-2008).
